You see, his parents are old school and expected their son to respect their wishes. And when I say old school, I mean Victorian Age old school. Before Dustin was born, an older brother, Austin had aged two years. When Dustin was three months shy of his second birthday, his baby brother, Justin, was born. As the three aged, they formed an incredible bond. They were brothers by nature, but best friends by choice. The day that Dustin began kindergarten was the exact day his parents started teaching him more than what his teachers were. They planned for their son to become a doctor, so they knew that his grades and attendance at school had to be perfect. Upon entering high school, Dustin's chemistry lab partner just so happened to be a female. The two bonded over the course of the class, so he eventually asked said girl out on a date. When he went home that evening and told his parents he had asked a girl out on a date, they were less than thrilled. His mother forced him to break his date with his chemistry partner and even went to extremes by having the teacher change Dustin's lab partner to a male. She explained to Dustin that she wanted nothing getting in the way of his becoming a doctor. When Dustin was twenty years old, the male went home home for a weekend visit with his parents. Upon his arrival, Dustin found out that his parents had found him a girl that they wanted him to marry. He wasn't happy about the idea in the least bit, but he has always listened to his parents, so why stop now? Figuring that it would make his parents happy and get them off of his back, Dustin married Alice soon after they had met. He knew that they were going to have to work their asses off for the marriage to work, but with so much else going on in his life, Dustin was very unsure of how their future was going to play our. The marriage between Dustin and Alice wasn't a proper one at all. Neither party wanted anything to do with the other and more often than not, they walked right past each other without even acknowledging the other. It was a very unhealthy living arrangement to say the least. Coming up on their one year anniversary, Dustin had so many things on his plate; his studies, trying to keep things civil between he and his wife, finding the right hospital to do his residency at, keeping an eye on his younger brother, who was so against their parents from the start, and the continuous pressure of his parents wanting him and Alice to start a family. After so much pressure from his parents and everything else going on in his life, the male eventually exploded in the form of his hand striking his wife. He, of course, was completely sorry and hadn't meant for it to happen, but there was nothing that he could do to take back what had happened. After the incident, Alice left him and pretty much vanished. He looked for her around the town and surrounding cities, but when he couldn't find her, he eventually gave up. Blaming everything on his parents, Dustin eventually confronted them about everything, starting a big argument. He told that that he wanted nothing more to do with their stupid ways and their idea for him to be this perfect child. He was so tired of the pressure. That's why, the male left medical school, found a job at a popular venue site and eventually started playing guitar on a day to day basis. He soon found out that he was good enough to be what was considered a studio guitarist and play for solo artists. Packing his things and heading to New York to find a job at one of the record labels there, the male found himself auditioning for a label After his audition, he was told of a position in a band that he could audition for instead. He decided to go for it and figured that there was no use in not trying. The male soon found himself as the new lead guitarist a band that had recently lost theirs. And to better celebrate his new-found job, the male went out and did the two things that his parents warned him never to do. He gauged his ears and began covering himself with tattoos. After playing in a band for a couple of years, the male became more and more interested in video production. It had always amazed him about how well someone could shoot, cut, and meld video together to make a movie and/or music video. Taking a few classes online and following around a few music directors like a lost puppy, Dustin soon learned the tricks to the trade. Before long at all, Dustin was on his way to Hollywood as a co-producer, then a producer, then co-director, until he was finally able to call himself a full on director.
