200 word show synposis from beginning to end:
A new comedy series revolves around ten close friends - Sasha, Maureen, Ophelia, Paige, Ashley, Zeke, Jonathan, Connor, Adam, and Liam - who have recently graduated high school and are now hoping to spend their gap year in style - having fun and doing all the crazy things they can before college. The six young adults are all as different from each other as day is from night, but something clicks between them. They all agree that there is no one better to hang out with than the rest. (loosely based off of friends, all characters are leads, aside from the extras)
list of characters and 50 word descriptions:
Maureen Phillips - Maureen is your typical skater girl. A proud Green Day fan, the girl almost always dons chipping black nail polish and a pair of tapers in her ears, determined to stretch the lobes a little further. Maureen has a cliche i-don't-give-a-fuck attitude, but somehow she has a layer of caring. She has a little bit of something sweet underneath the salty, to show that she is more than just some 'scene' bitch.
Sasha Adkins - Sasha Adkins was the glue of the group to begin with. She knew almost everyone before everyone knew everyone else. She's the one who introduced them to each other. She gets along well with them all, but, being the drama queen, she's almost always fighting with someone. All, that is, except for Connor. He's like a God to her, and she's been watching him for years, having the most ridiculously dorky crush on him, not that she'd ever tell.
Ophelia Knight - Ophelia Knight was the total package in high school. Beautiful, thin, and bubbly - not to mention that she was smart, and dating the gorgeous Liam Kahn. No one saw beyond that, though, aside from her best friend Sasha Adkins. Under her Miss Popular exterior lied a girl who was full of insecurity and secrets, keeping a smile pasted on her face to hide the pain.
Paige Wright - Paige was never afraid to be the leader, still isn't. The loudest and the proudest, Paige is a theatre devotee. When she isn't singing her heart out, acting, or working backstage, she's with the guys. She's a total tomboy - rooting for the world to end in a Zombie apocalypse - and she's also a pride-filled lesbian. The group doesn't mind because she doesn't mind, and she'd never make things weird with the girls anyway.
Ashley Oliver - Ashley Oliver is the quietest one you'll meet in the bunch. A churchgoer, the girl is respectful, and would never hurt a fly. She has good morals, always getting all her chores and errands done before she gets involved in the group's shenanigans. She's also the only virgin of the girls, and as the show progresses, her sexuality somewhat blossoms.
Connor Macklin - Connor isn't the nicest guy in the world, but the group took him in when his last group took him out. An egocentric asshole, he is known around the town for his good looks. He is overaware of Sasha's crush on him and uses it against her, not returning the feelings in the slightest (well, if he does, he doesn't act like it). Connor, however, knows right from wrong, and he'd never intentionally hurt someone.
Adam Everson - Adam is the guy that everyone would mark by stereotypes. He loves to watch sports and he loves to eat, he spends long hours at the gym and even longer hours at the bar. He's a bit of a player, with a new girl every night, and he's the least worried of everyone about his future. After all, his parents are rich. All he has to do is wait for them to leave him his inheritance, right?
Liam Kahn - Long term boyfriend of Ophelia, he doesn't know about her underlying issues. Liam is a bit of a bookworm. He's easily irritated with people and prone to snap at them, so he spends more time alone than most of the group. He'd rather read, write, nap, or stay on the internet than hang out with the group. However, since the group is directly tied to Sasha, who is best friends with his girlfriend, he is automatically in the group. After all, he can't always be alone.
Jonathan Copeland - Almost every tight group of friends has the friend that nobody likes, and in this case.. it's Jonathan. Your gay-dar goes off the moment you meet him, as he is the stereotypical gay. He's flamboyant and very feminine, being a bit catty and two-faced. He loves to dress nicely and make sly insults, but the girls adore him for who he is, so the guys tolerate him and his somewhat rudeness.
Ezekiel "Zeke" Daniels - Last but not least, there's Zeke. Zeke was raised by his mother after his parents were divorced, and the woman taught him to love everything and everyone - regardless of looks, gender, and where they come from. Zeke does just that. A polysexual, weed-smoking, all-around nice guy, there's not a soul who doesn't like Zeke. All it takes is him throwing an arm around your shoulder and greeting you with one of his goofy, lopsided smiles, and he's won you over, just like that.
