The Nicholls name was to be known to the entire world. There was Ariana Gray-Nicholls, the mother. She was in the fashion industry to the life of the rich and famous. She grew up a model before moving on to becoming a fashion designer. Her husband was Samuel. His life was everywhere. He first started off as a photographer, which was how he met Ariana. Then he moved away from photography and joined the music industry, shooting music videos and such for all the top artists at the time. Eventually that spread into becoming a director with a television series and numerous movies. They had three children, Vanessa being the middle child. Her interests within the entertainment industry was in acting. Ever since she was a young child she always used to pretend she was living in a movie. She always pretended she was famous, strutting around like cameras were always on her and doing fake interviews in her room with one of her fathers old cameras. She was a very hyperactive and energetic girl. She wasn't shy. She was friendly and outgoing and didn't care what people thought of her. However, her father had died when she was seven. He was to be her guide into the acting industry. Her mother was devastated. She was to raise three children on her own while running a successful fashion business. It was all stressing for her. So Nessa's acting career didn't begin for another seven years, when she turned 14. Half of the reason was because as a young child, her grief turned her away from acting for most years. She tried to be the child that would follow in her mothers business in fashion. But as soon as she hit her teens, she realised she wasn't interested. Sure, she'd met a lot of models and other famous faces through her mother, but working in fashion wasn't what she wanted. Her acting choice now comes from the choice to follow in her deceased fathers name of being a well known Nicholls within the tv/film industry.
