Dalton Murphy; Bio for Meet Me in St.Louis production, Senior class.
Dalton Murphy is seventeen, a senior in high school. She's in Chambers A Cappella choir group and has been since sophomore year. She previously played the cello and violin, though dropped her classes to make more room for theater. She plays Ester in our production, and has played a minor role in several out of school productions including Chicago, Music Man, Dracula and Maine. Dalton's mother is also in the theater world, and has preformed as Roxie on Broadway in Chicago. She grew up in Seattle, Washington and plans on attending Julliard preforming arts academy.
Dalton's Reaction to Bio:
Wow, I sound like a goody two shoes with no life other than music! Here's the real story. I'm seventeen, supposed to have graduated next year with the rest of the kids my age, but apparently I was so amazing that they let me skip third grade, cool right? not really. I'm the baby of my grade and I freaking hate it. I only grew up in the theater world because my mom was determined to get me on Broadway by the time I'm like, twenty or something. Sadly, that didn't plan out like it was supposed to, poor mom. I enjoyed cello, actually, I loved it. But mom believed that took up to much time. Get the point of how I think of her yet? I left Seattle as soon as possible. I moved to LA as soon as I possibly could. I've been here for three years, making my way off of a small diner that hired me and small jobs in modeling and singing I've snagged. I love it, don't get me wrong. But if I don't get what I want soon ; fame, I'm going to get a little pissed. I mean come on. Who wouldn't hire me to be their leading lady? They haven't seen my resume yet, clearly.
