Her pale lips locked together, Dalton's cocoa brown eyes where covered with a large thick sunglass to block anyone from peering into them with curiousity. Her middle finger held a wrap around ring that looked like a woven arrow. Her hair was in a playful ponytail, held up by a ponytail holder with a ribbon wrapped around it. Her neck held up a soft and simple necklace that was the infinity symbol. It had taken Dalton more than two hours to put this whole outfit together, and actually get out the door before she felt happy with how she looked. Her toms scuffed the ground beneath her feet as she walked a bit faster to keep the eyes of the pedestrians on her. Feeling small beady eyes land on her, Dalton's blank expression grew into a teasing smirk as she walked. Finally reaching her destination, Dalton bit her bottom lip playfully as her eyes landed on the attractive male behind the counter. Walking up, she smiled and played with her ponytail momentarily before pressing her tongue against her cheek while thinking for a moment. "Carmel mocha, no whipped cream."She finally decided, "Grande."She nodded. The guy behind the counter awkwardly nodded, running a hand through his scruffy hair while he put the order in. After he told her the amount, she pulled out a ten, handing the bill and getting only a few in return. Sighing, Dalton stood off to the side. Playing with the ring around her finger, drifting into space while she waited for her name to be called. Her phone vibrated in her jacket pocket, rolling her eyes a bit, she pulled it out, revealing the IPhone 4S, and it's matching case, a simple beige color with a pop out Efiel Tower. Sighing, Dalton got ready for the lecture from her lovely mother. Clicking answer, she put on a fake smile, as if it would help the "positivity" in her voice. "Hey mom."She spoke. Just then, her name got called and Dalton walked up the the awkward male once agian. Not bothering to say thank you, she just nodded and continued the conversation with her mother. "I didn't call yesterday?"She spoke, pretending to sound shocked, "I'm sorry, I could have sworn I had !"She exclaimed into the phone. Ever since leaving Seattle, Dalton had to promise to keep in touch with the theater maniac as much as possible, as much as she hated it, she tried to stay true. As they talked, Dalton swiftly moved to an open booth, one hand holding the coffee, and other pinning the phone against her ear. Sliding in as easily as she could without spilling the coffee, she groaned silently as her mother continued on and on about something she didn't care about. "Hey mom, right now isn't really the time. I'll call you back later, kay?"She spoke, instantly cutting off the women off. Clearly sounding offended, the women said her goodbyes and hung up, leaving Dalton to do the same. Taking a drink of the steaming drink she looked up as someone coughed uncomfortably and looked up with a cocked eyebrow. "May I sit here as well?" The human questioned. Cocking her head a bit, Dalton took the time to look around, making sure there were no other seats open, and to her dismay, there went. Pressing her lips together, she nodded slowly and sighed again. "Yeah, I guess. Go ahead."She spoke, motioning to the seat across from her.
