He married a young girl, Paula, who lived in Washington. He'd fallen head over feels for her and they shared a romantic time while her family were vacationing in Brazil. They'd fallen in love, but she knew it couldn't last because she had to go home. So when she left, he followed. He followed her to Washington. Of course, he'd always wanted to go there so now he just had another excuse. He was 22, she was 20. Their romance blossomed again and they eloped. They moved to New York. Next thing anyone knew, Paula was pregnant. She had a baby boy. So Alaric was born. A new place, a new life. All from scratch. Luckily, Darren's parents loved their son enough to have sent him a large decent amount of money even though he had decided to leave Brazil and leave his family behind. So they had enough to support them...find them a house and buy all the necessary things. But it wasn't going to last, so Darren had went out and got himself a job while Paula stayed at home and raised her son. Alaric was a shy child. He kept to himself. He had preferred to play by himself and when he started school, he stuck to himself. People just didn't seem to amuse him. Sure, he was a polite little boy, but he never stepped out of his way to talk to anyone. He kept to himself, unless people forced themselves on him. Or if his parents forced him on people. As soon as his little sister was born, his shell cracked. He was was seven. He became a protective seven year old looking after his new baby sister. So people soon realised he was the very protective type of boy. Well, so they thought. It seemed it only worked with his little sister. But she had helped him be a little more outgoing. He started to interact with people, on his choice. He eventually turned out to be quite the attractive guy, both physically and socially. He became quite a ladies man, which he used to his advantage. A literal manwhore, as people called it. He was just a major flirt and liked to sleep around. He wasn't someone that was keen on settling down in a relationship. Although, he was quite a cocky bastard...a real jerk at the worst times. But to certain people, he showed a nicer side. So people believed he was really just a nice guy though he tried to deny it. As Alaric got older, he started to drift away from his parents. There was contant arguments and fights. A lot of slamming doors and leaving the house with a speeding car. Alaric would have moved out as soon as possible if it weren't for his little sister. He stuck around for her. But as soon as he turned 20, he left. He couldn't stick around much longer. So he had moved out. He would have taken his sister with him, but she had to stay with their parents. When he was 24, his 17yr old baby sister had a baby. Their parents weren't happy about that. Of course, they weren't going to shun her off ... but they weren't exactly happy that their teenage daughter had fallen pregnant at 16 and the child born at 17. So Alaric opened up his place for his sister, because he knew there was just going to be trouble if she had stayed at home. Alaric's modelling career had started when he had moved out. He even moved all the way to California. Photographers had thought he had the look of a male model, so he gave it a try as a one off thing. But people seemed to like his work, so eventually it became his occupation and has been since. |
