I’ve been working on new designs lately, and let me tell you- they are sexier than they were a year ago! much less fabric and much more sex appeal!” she giggles as she rambles on eagerly, “lots of lace and we’ve even incorporated leather into some of the designs, I’m thrilled!” "that's always good. tell us, how did you end up in LA?" “I grew up in Italy, with my mama and my papa- we moved over here when I was about three…” she purses her lips, “papa hated it here- mama loved the difference in culture. they died when I was about fifteen, so I’ve been on my own for a long time…” she looks down at her hands, her playful and happy smile gone as she tries to push thoughts from the past away. “well, at first I wasn’t- I had a little brother who was around for about a year- it was when he died things started going really downhill for me. he was about seventeen when he committed suicide, me being only eighteen. seeing as I was an adult at that age I was really on my own- all my family was over in Italy- and after the move we lost contact with most of them.” "i see. what was your childhood like?" “I don’t remember much about Italy, the villa we lived in was in the eastern section of it- lots of island flowers on the cobblestone walls if I remember correctly.” she bites her lip as she tries to remember the other country, “we shared a house with half my family- all I remember is that people were always cooking and singing and being overly happy, but I was a child- so maybe that’s just how I was everything.” her tongue darts out across her lips, her eyes bright as she tries to think, “our nana came over with us, her cooking was phenomenal- I remember her special sauce that she used to make for our pasta, and how flakey her pastries used to be.” she smiles warmly, clearing her throat nervously and blushing slightly. "what are your goals while in LA?" “I want to become big, forget my past and just be my own person. I’m tired of dwelling in the past.” she sighs quietly, “it’d be pretty cool to sell some of my designs to big companies like victoria’s secret- or even start my own business- it’d be fabulous to open a tiny lingerie shop.” she smiles, “I’d also like to get in touch with a family friend, laci pappas- I’m going to be staying with her and her boyfriend. I’m a little nervous about seeing her again- seeing as I haven’t seen her since I was a toddler…” "what are your favorite hobbies?" “designing, I love sleeping, um… cooking old family recipes- I’ll occasionally go through old photo albums, but usually that results in me feeling sad and lonely.” she sighs softly, “um… I love sunbathing- there is just something about laying out on the beach that is super relaxing… I enjoy avoiding cats- I’m terrified of felines, which is slightly pathetic but I mean, they have claws.” she giggles at herself. “I love sharp things, which kind of sounds morbid- but shiny silver blades are just… fascinating to me. I guess another hobby of mine would be pretending I’m cheerful and happy all the time- honestly sometimes I feel like I’m trapped in my own body…” "what have you chosen as a career?" “I’m a lingerie designer, I’ve been talking about my designs…have you even been listening.” "anything you'd like to say?" “no, you obviously would rather be somewhere else right now.”
